Content must be written from research, testing notes, manufacturer documentation, product-page verification, and practical decision criteria. We do not copy merchant descriptions, competitor reviews, forum posts, or AI-generated claims without adding original structure and source-aware judgment.
Safety
Automotive, electrical, brake, fuel, cooling, and building-diagnostic work can create real risk. Pages should explain when to stop, verify the service procedure, disconnect or depressurize a system, avoid unsafe probing, and get qualified help.
Compatibility standards
Diagnostic tools can vary by vehicle year, make, model, engine, module, protocol, app version, update status, and region. A page should not imply universal coverage when the buyer still needs to verify the exact function and return window.
Recommendation standards
A recommendation should explain who the tool is for, who should skip it, what job it solves, what it cannot solve, and what details to verify before purchase. Feature count alone is not a verdict.
Updates
Update dates should change only when product coverage, recommendation logic, source checks, safety guidance, or content materially changes. Cosmetic edits, typo fixes, or formatting cleanup should not be presented as a fresh review.
Corrections
If a tool listing changes, a product is discontinued, an update policy shifts, or a reader reports a compatibility issue, the relevant page should be reviewed and corrected. Clear limitations are better than confident claims that cannot be verified.
